2011 Annual Membership Meeting

 

On March 28, 2011 The Arc of Lancaster County held its Annual Membership Meeting.  There were approximately 100 people in attendance who helped celebrate the past and plan for the future.

 

Prior to the meeting, everyone enjoyed a delicious luau/dinner prepared and served by The Arc Board and Staff.

~ Awards:

Brian Bixler - J. Lloyd Staffer Award Christine Miller (center) - Volunteer Award

Brian Bixler received the J. Lloyd Stauffer Award for his outstanding effort to contribute to the community through self-advocacy, volunteer efforts, and personal achievements.

 

Christine Miller received the volunteer of the year award for her work on th IM4Q Advisory Board and her commitment as an IM4Q Monitor, partnering with self-advocates (Valerie Foreman & Scott Stillwell pictured with Christine).

 

After all our work was completed, we did find time to have some fun.  Everyone enjoyed Hula Dancing, passing the Sea Urchin (squishy ball), and bending and twisting under the Limbo Pole.
