Marathon

Keith and Lynn Benninghoff ran their FIRST ever marathon in Philadelphia on November 23, 2008 and collected $1200 in pledges to benefit The Arc of Lancaster County. It's not too late to show your support for this year because they are doing two marathons for The Arc of Lancaster County!  Check out the Save Keith Drive by clicking on Special Events above --- then you'll get "the rest of the story..."

DC Marathon update

One Down One to Go

 

On October 25th both Lynn and Keith Benninghoff finished their first marathon out of two planned within a month of each other. Although Keith did have a personal best, his time did not qualify him for the Boston Marathon.

 

As planned, Keith will reatempt on November 22nd in Philadelphia PA. His time for the 26.25 miles needs to be under 3 hrs 30 minutes 59 seconds.

 

In good spirits -  Keith says - we will just chalk that last one up as a training run and not worry too much about the finish time :-) Keith also says bad finish times are allot like your age - you try not to dwell on them, always want to shave a few units off the value and never want to admit the truth :-)
